The Root People
- Liberty Bell Films in association with Mayan Moon Films are gearing up to
shoot their first feature-length motion picture called
The Root People.
The film will be shot with a professional
cast and crew using the new ground-breaking
Red
Camera.

16mm film in June 2007 and completed on August 19, 2007. The film world
premiered at the 11th Annual Magnolia
Independent Film Festival and is currently making the rounds in the film
festival circuit. |

Written and directed by Tim Chambers. Starring Carla Gugina and David
Boreanaz. Mark Kochanowicz worked three days as the stand-in for David
Boreanaz. Filmed around the Philadelphia region in the summer of 2007. |

comedy directed by
Michael McCullers. Starring Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. Mark Kochanowicz
worked one day as the stand-in for Dax Shepard. Set in Philadelphia but
shooting in New York. Scheduled to be released in 2008. |
| "Three Graveyards" - Written
and directed by Mary McDermott. Produced by Keith Shupard. Three Graveyards
tells the story of a Philadelphia-based dysfunctional Irish Catholic family
reunion. Mark Kochanowicz is playing Father Sean, youngest son of the Cullin
clan. Filmed on S16mm in June and August 2007.

for the Philadelphia 48
Hour Film Project 2007 competition. Completed in 47 hours 53 minutes!
"Refuge" screened on April 1, 2007 as part of the 48HFP and won the Best
Music award by the panel of judges. The film's world premiere occurred on April 8th, 2007 at the
16th Philadelphia Film Festival. Its west coast
premiere was in Burbank, CA at the LA
Shorts Fest September 9, 2007. |

the Siberian Taiga. Mark plays the lead, Jordan King, who awakes in the
forest after his plane has been shot down by rebels. This short motion

Forgotten Genius" - A dramatic two-hour life story of Scientist Percy
Julian. Directed by Llew Smith. Starring Tony Award winner Ruben
Santiago Hudson. Mark had an U5 playing role of an underling
chemist to the brilliant Percy Julian. Aired nationally on February 6,
2007.

shot with a hand-cranked 16mm camera. It's a Charlie Chaplin style comedy
that meets "A Clockwork
Orange"! Finished August 15, 2006. Starring: Mark Kochanowicz, William
Spangler and Matt Myers. World premiered April 26, 2007 at the Bare Bones

Donahue, a stoic 1950's sci-fi hero. Filming started in November and

nominated for "Best Undergraduate Film" in
the Greater Philadelphia Student Film

3rd in the competition.

the Common Man" - A short motion picture directed by Ron
Perozzi, written and produced by Mark Kochanowicz. Mark plays the lead character Kent, a germophobe,
whose workday is interrupted by a bowl of chili. This movie premiered in
Seattle, WA at the Seattle True Independence Film Festival on June 4, 2005.
Also screened on
April 22, 2006 at the Bare
Bones International Film Festival. (Nominated for Best Short Comedy) and
at the Phoenixville
Independent Film Festival on September 22, 2007.
