Mark Kochanowicz in "Eagle Eye"

"Eagle Eye" - Directed by D.J. Caruso. Mark Kochanowicz worked with Rosario Dawson in a scene shot outside the Pentagon.
"The Journey" - A short film by Drexel film majors Bruce Pinchbeck and Dominck Marino. Mark Kochanowicz plays Chuck, a fast-talking businessman. Shot on HDV 720p in February 2008.
The Root People - Liberty Bell Films in association with Mayan Moon Films are gearing up to shoot their first feature-length motion picture called The Root People. The film will be shot with a professional cast and crew using the new ground-breaking Red Camera.

"Figure Study #7" - A horror short made for the 2007 National Challenge. Directed by Jena Serbu. Mark Kochanowicz played the Butcher.  
"The Death of Milo Freedman" - An ABM DigiFilms written and directed by Anthony Fletcher. Mark Kochanowicz played the Attorney who is the target of a hit-man. Shot on Hi-Definition video. Currently in post-production. To be released in 2008.

"The Happening" - Written and directed by M. Night Shyamalan. Starring Mark Walberg and Zooey Deschanel. Mark Kochanowicz worked 5 days as a utility stand-in for this 20th Century Fox production being shot in and around Philadelphia.
"See You in September" -Directed by Tamara Tunie. Starring Estella Warren and Justin Kirk. Mark Kochanowicz spent two days standing-in for Justin Kirk and various other actors in this romance feature filming in New York.

"Breath of Twilight" - Written and directed by Mark Kochanowicz. Starring Heather Dyas-Fried and Mark Kochanowicz. A short film about a mother's near-death experience. Shot on 16mm film in June 2007 and completed on August 19, 2007. The film world premiered at the 11th Annual Magnolia Independent Film Festival and is currently making the rounds in the film festival circuit.

"Our Lady of Victory" - Written and directed by Tim Chambers. Starring Carla Gugina and David Boreanaz. Mark Kochanowicz worked three days as the stand-in for David Boreanaz. Filmed around the Philadelphia region in the summer of 2007.
"Baby Mama" - A feature comedy directed by Michael McCullers. Starring Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. Mark Kochanowicz worked one day as the stand-in for Dax Shepard. Set in Philadelphia but shooting in New York. Scheduled to be released in 2008.
"Three Graveyards" - Written and directed by Mary McDermott. Produced by Keith Shupard. Three Graveyards tells the story of a Philadelphia-based dysfunctional Irish Catholic family reunion. Mark Kochanowicz is playing Father Sean, youngest son of the Cullin clan. Filmed on S16mm in June and August 2007.

"Refuge" - A short sci-fi HDV produced with team: INGSOC  for the Philadelphia 48 Hour Film Project 2007 competition. Completed in 47 hours 53 minutes! "Refuge" screened on April 1, 2007 as part of the 48HFP and won the Best Music award by the panel of judges. The film's world premiere occurred on April 8th, 2007 at the 16th Philadelphia Film Festival. Its west coast premiere was in Burbank, CA at the LA Shorts Fest September 9, 2007.
"Some Words With a Mummy" - Directed by Joseph Bierman. Mark Kochanowicz played Silk Buckingham in this screen adaptation of Edgar Allen Poe's short story. Shot in March 2007 on 16mm color film. Currently in postproduction.

"Incommunicado" - Written and Directed by Jason Griffith. Produced by Chris Tynan. A survival story set in the Siberian Taiga. Mark plays the lead, Jordan King, who awakes in the forest after his plane has been shot down by rebels. This short motion picture was shot in hi-definition in March 2007 . Premiered the summer of 2007.

"Nova: Forgotten Genius" - A dramatic two-hour life story of Scientist Percy Julian. Directed by Llew Smith. Starring Tony Award winner Ruben Santiago Hudson. Mark had an U5 playing role of an underling chemist to the brilliant Percy Julian. Aired nationally on February 6, 2007.

"Our Summer Movie" - A feature-length comedy directed by Michael Wellenreiter. Mark played "Max Terry", a Hollywood executive who helps a novice filmmaker and his friends achieve their dream of making a feature film. Now available on DVD.

"The Last Stand of the Soul" - Directed by Rory Abel. Produced by Liberty Bell Films. This sci-fi short film deals with survival and family dynamics amidst the aftermath of an alien takeover. Starring: Mark Kochanowicz, Nicholas Wilder and Brea Bee. Finished January 2008.

"Live Mansion" - The Movie. Mark Kochanowicz was a 3rd round contestant finalist in this social networking based film project.

"The Devil Wears Prada" - Directed by David Frankel. Mark Kochanowicz was featured at Meryl Streep's table at a Parisian banquet scene and also provided stand-in work for Daniel Sunjata.

"The Proposal" - A 16mm short comedy written and directed by Drexel film student Jonathan Mauer.

"Bunny and Bobo" - Uncut Production's entry into the 2006 NYC Midnight Movie Madness. Mark Played the bit role of King Charming in the comedy/mockumentary.
"The Drunken Spelling Bee" - Uncut Production's entry into the National Film Challenge 2006. Mark played the role of politician and spelling judge Robert "Bobby Soxer" Kennedy III. Screened April 14, 2007 in the Philadelphia Film Festival shorts program.

"Blind Man's Bluff" - Directed by Tom MaCoy. This B&W film is an experimental narrative that was shot with a hand-cranked 16mm camera. It's a Charlie Chaplin style comedy that meets "A Clockwork Orange"! Finished August 15, 2006. Starring: Mark Kochanowicz, William Spangler and Matt Myers. World premiered April 26, 2007 at the Bare Bones International Film Festival.

"Graham's Robot" - A short film written and directed by Randy L. Palmer. Mark plays Fletcher, the robot's reclusive inventor who befriends Graham, a young boy, to assist him with his creation. Principal photography completed May 30, 2006 and Screened at the 2006 Mad Dragon Film Festival.

"The Open Window" - Mark played the male lead, Framton Nuttle, (seated next to actress Julie Praetzel) in this adaptation of the classic short story by Saki. Produced by Rowan University under the direction of Dr. Joseph Bierman. Shot on 16mm color film. Screened on May 4, 2006 in Glassboro NJ.
"The Volunteer" - Written and directed by John P. Gelety. Mark played the lead role of Joe Royce, a bookkeeper for a coal mining company who has "volunteered" to solve a small-town murder. Filming finished December 11, 2005. Shot on Sony HDV.

"Pretty Bird" - Written and directed by Ashley Maynor.  This 16mm short film about is  loneliness. Mark played Peter, the American-born son of a Polish immigrant. Premiered at the Diamond Screen Film Festival on May 13, 2006. Also screened  at the Bryn Mawr Film Institute on May 24, 2006.

"A Bump in the Night" - A 16mm short film written and directed by Benjamin Kitchens. Mark plays Jacob Donahue, a stoic 1950's sci-fi hero. Filming started in November and finished in early January, 2006. Premiered June 9, 2006 and won the Best Advanced Film award in the MAD Dragon Film Festival.

"Hostage" - A 16mm black & white short film written by Tomas MaCoy and directed by Carolyn King. Mark plays the lead role of the hostage. This film was nominated for "Best Undergraduate Film" in the Greater Philadelphia Student Film Festival and screened at the Cine at Penn on April 13, 2006. It place 3rd in the competition.

"Lady in the Water" - Directed by M. Night Shyamalan. Starring Paul Giamatti and Bryce Dallas Howard. Mark worked in the background as a summer party guest. Filmed in Bucks County, PA
"Quid Pro Quo" - Directed by Carlos Brooks. Starring Nick Stahl. Mark worked in the background as an upscale dinner patron. Filmed in New York City.
"Invincible" - Directed by Ericson Core. Starring Mark Wahlberg. Mark worked in the background as a pool-player. Filmed in Philadelphia.
"The Ex" - Directed by Jesse Peretz. Starring Zach Braff, Amanda Peet, Jason Bateman, Charles Grodin and Mia Farrow. Mark Kochanowicz worked for 8 weeks in NY as the stand-in and photo double for Zach Braff. Premiered in May 2007. Formerly titled "Fast Track". Now available on DVD.

"Catalyst: Izzy" - A short film by Benjamin Kanes and Mark Kochanowicz. Mark plays, Jack, one of the the lead characters. Premiered for cast and crew in September 2005.
"The Departed" - Directed by Martin Scorsese. Starring: Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon, Jack Nicholson, Mark Wahlberg and many more. Mark Kochanowicz worked as Leonardo DiCaprio's stand-in for 7 days of this film while it shot in Brooklyn. "The Departed" Won the Academy Award for Best Picture.

"16 Blocks" - Directed by Richard Donner. Starring Bruce Willis, Mos Def, David Morse and Alfre Woodard. Mark provided background work as a lawyer in one of the closing scenes. Released in February 2006.
"Audition" - Mark played the supporting role of Detective Drake in this short film directed by Sam Holdren. Screened at the Appalachian Film Festival April 19th, and The Bare Bones FIlm Festival April 25th in 2007.

Facility for the Common Man - Poster

"Facility for the Common Man" - A short motion picture directed by Ron Perozzi, written and produced by Mark Kochanowicz.  Mark plays the lead character Kent, a germophobe, whose workday is interrupted by a bowl of chili. This movie premiered in Seattle, WA at the Seattle True Independence Film Festival on June 4, 2005. Also screened on April 22, 2006 at the Bare Bones International Film Festival. (Nominated for Best Short Comedy) and at the Phoenixville Independent Film Festival on September 22, 2007.
